2023 Fall Shoe Trends

Okay y’all lets talk SHOES!! Is there a better material purchase than shoes? Carrie Bradshaw and I would argue the answer is no way. I do understand that shoes are expensive, but well worth the investment when it comes to comfort & style. Any whooo, these are my favorite 2023 fall shoe trends, or at least ones that have been speaking to me– “buy me, Jenny.”

Being 5’4″ I have been thriving since the chunky/platform trend has come back around. I refuse to let this ever go out of style, and you may hold me to that. All of that to say, the chunky take on the classic loafer & Mary Jane has me swooning & I want every single pair below! I meannn paired with a cute crew sock & styled with an oversized blazer fit- chef’s kiss!

Next on the list: BOOTS!! Can you have too many boots?? I vote no. In particular, western/riding boots are making a big appearance this fall & winter. Chelsea boots & motor/combat boots are also here to stay. Now all the boots I have linked are expensive at their retail price (but how cute omg), so if they are too much for you, I encourage you to use them for inspiration for more affordable options online or while thrifting, or look them up on Poshmark!

I know we are all happy that casual/cozy fashion is in, and therefore, we need the right footwear to match the vibe. In particular, Birkenstock clogs, UGGs, and ofc cute sneakers are flying off the shelves. I am a huge fan of New Balance for trendy while also being v comfortable sneakers, but I noticed vintage Adidas and Reeboks are making a comeback– bonus points for anything green sneaks. 

These styles are going to be difficult to get your hands on due to popularity, but again, just use them to inspire you 🙂

I love a good heel & normally I am a 3+ inch heel girly, BUT I recently have become a fan of the kitten heel trend! I just ordered myself a vintage pair on Etsy and no lie, THEY’RE AMAZING 🙂 BUT here are some gorg options I found in my process of searching.
