MY TOP TEN!!!!!Â
I don’t know about you guys, but I am so over paying for polyester clothing, especially to wear in the summer!!
I cannot stand feeling over heated– like it will ruin my mood lmao, so avoiding dressing in literal plastic is the best thing I can do to stay cool 😎
So where are we getting our high quality cotton & linen summer staple clothes?? I’ll start from least to most expensive.Â
Okay first up, OLD NAVY!! Sometimes I forget about them, but they really do have some great quality basics in natural fibers for very affordable prices!!Â
Don’t sleep on them, get to your local old navy girrrl
Â
Next, Brandy Melville, which I know due to their “one-size” aka size 0-4, not everyone can shop here, which I don’t agree with :/!!
Buttt I do love my basics from them. They’re high quality, typically 100% cotton, & very affordable.Â
Â
Next, and possibly best of both worlds when it comes to quality and affordability… QUINCE!! I think their styles are a bittt mature looking (cause I’m a 28 year old teenager), but hey you’ll look classy & never age out of them!
I am particularly impressed with their cotton and linen basics. I mean those 100% linen shorts are $29.90!!!! *immediately adds to cart**
Â
Next on the list… Abercrombie & Fitch of course!! I will say, I read all of the material details because some of their styles are cotton or linen blends, so some things are more worth your money than others!
Also, they have a ton of sales year round, so I try not to buy anything full price from them.Â
Â
A classic I keep coming back to time and time again… Madewell!! I find their pieces that are indeed 100% cotton and linen are worth the price!! They also tend to have a sales around the year!
Â
Aritzia is a great place to shop for basics! But again, I would just pay attention to the material make up to see if it’s worth the price tag!! I prefer to shop here in person, but they only have stores in big cities :/
Â
Everlane also carries very classic, high quality summer staple pieces!
Â
Anthro!! You all know her!!
Â
Dissh: bit of a more niche store. Australian brand serving high end looks in natural fibers… their stuff is giving high class!!
Â
Okay last, but not least, but certainly most expensive lol… Reformation!
Personally loveee reformation, but understand the price point is not ideal! They do focus highly on making quality 100% linen and cotton pieces though, so worth getting a few staples if you’re in the market.Â
As always, happy shopping!! Be responsible out there lol
